Vivek Anand Oberoi stands up against child trafficking !

While audiences and his fans are well aware of Vivek’s impressive work in the Hindi film industry and his sharp business initiatives, what very few know few know is that the has been tirelessly working for the cause of girl child through his project DEVI since a decade that works to assure dignified upbringing, safety and medical care, and improve the conditions in which so many Indian children live.

Collaborating with Snap Deal recently for the cause ‘Stop Kids Sale: End Human Trafficking’ through his ONE Foundation, Vivek has been creating awareness among the people to stand up against barbaric incidents like child trafficking and labour, etc.

As per a survey, 7 kids go missing every hour. Half of them don’t return. Most of them trafficked into illicit activities. The business of child trafficking has crossed miles but the conviction rate is only moving by inches.

Children remain the most vulnerable target, trafficked and pushed to most harmful forms of labour and abuse, often forced into prostitution, physical labour or domestic work.

Through this collaboration with Snap Deal, Vivek’s ONE Foundation will create awareness among the people to come forward in huge numbers to condemn child trafficking.
