The biggest action spectacle of Bollywood lived up to its massive pre-release hype as it collected 53.35 crore nett all India (Hindi : 51.60 Cr and Tamil & Telugu - 1.75 Cr)! War created 8 new milestones with its opening collections and set massive benchmarks for the industry! Here are the following records that War smashed with its incredible opening day: It is the biggest Opening in the history of Hindi cinema. It is also the biggest Opening for Hrithik  and the biggest Opening for Tiger. It is the Biggest opening for director Siddharth Anand  as well as biggest all time holiday Opening. It’s YRF’s Biggest All Time Opener, the biggest opening for an original film which is not a sequel or a spin off  and last but not the least the biggest opening for a film releasing on Gandhi Jayanti

The biggest action entertainer of India, War, which has had a solo Hindi release, if you discount the factbthat Sye Reddy Narasimha Reddy was a Telugu film dubbed in Hindi too, sees two of the biggest action superstars of our country, Hrithik and Tiger, waging a war against each other. The high-octane film that also stars Vaani Kapoor opposite Hrithik Roshan, sees the two superstars pitted in a massive showdown which has mesmerised audiences of all ages across India.
