For the first time on Indian television, one historical show will pave way for another, where the show, Porus will hand over the baton of narrating the story of the making of Akhand Bharat to a new show -Chandragupta Maurya.

Chandragupta Maurya – a reluctant student, who has no feelings for his motherland, harbors only one goal - to earn his freedom from the hunter who he was sold to as a child. Chanakya, the wise strategist who is completely dedicated to the dream of a united Bharat, sees through the potential of this street smart teenager. But will the tenacious & wise Chanakya be able to train Chandragupta in a manner that will enable him to get the whole of India together?

The show Chandragupta Maurya marks the journey and the making of the bravest and most celebrated King in the Indian History.

Produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Chandragupta Maurya will bring to the viewers a complete visual extravagance by recreating the Nanda Dynasty and depicting the rise of the Mauryan Empire. The cast includes renowned television names like Kartikeya Malviya who essays the character of Chandragupta Maurya; Tarun Khanna who portrays the character of Chanakya; Sourabh Raaj Jain who plays Dhananand; Vikas Verma who plays Seleucus Nicator and Shefali Sharma who plays Mura, Chandragupta Maurya’s mother amongst many others.
