Jelimals Immunoz: Kid Me Not, a first-of-its-kind webinar saw coming together of actress Sameera Reddy, also a mother of two, celebrated chef and father Kunal Kapur, actor & host Karan Wahi and child artist Aaryan Prajapati to champion a data-led discussion about children’s perspective about the new normal world.

Through an interactive, AI-based virtual platform, the celebrities explored how adults can help make the transition towards Come-Back, fun and exciting for children in the present times.

Data gathered from 364 children, aged 8-12 years across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata revealed that 94% children miss 'Going to school' and 95% miss 'Meeting friends' in person, making immunity support an ‘uncompromising imperative’ in the new normal world. If given a ‘Superpower’ 74% children would utilize it to ‘Save People (56%) & Find Cure (18%)’ from Covid-19 with concern for parents & family (38%) being foremost for the children. Furthermore, data also revealed that highlight of the day for kids was ‘Video calls with friends’.

The findings resonated with Sameera Reddy and Kunal Kapur in their respective capacities. They shared personal insights, instances and anecdotes on being a ‘playful friend to the kids’ and preparing ‘fun and tasty home-made food for kids that are alternatives to outside food’ while Aaryan Prajapati, represented and spoke on behalf of his peers.

While children have worked on uplifting their ‘spirit’ to take on the world, Jelimals has worked towards enabling them fulfil it. As a brand that enjoys a loyal following amongst children, Jelimals’ unwavering commitment towards them has resulted in the brand shifting its portfolio offerings to Jelimals Immunoz - jellies fortified with 2 key nutrients Vitamin C & Zinc that help support the immune system amongst children.

A serving of 2, great tasting jellies per day will ensure kids get 50% RDA of Vitamin C & 15% RDA of Zinc, both essential ingredients which help support the immune system.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Anuj Rustagi, COO – Chocolate, Coffee, Confectionery & New Category Development - Foods, ITC Ltd, said, “It is our endeavour as a kid’s focussed brand to support the health of kids with our products by giving them a daily dose of vitamin C & Zinc. And we are doing this in a “Jelimals’ way” – making this fun and engaging for both parents and kids much like our ‘Do the 5’ video.

We are delighted to have Ms. Sameera Reddy talk to consumers through our platform Jelimals Immunoz: Kid Me Not. It was a hand in glove collaboration, as she has been delighting many followers and parents like us to engage in fun activities with our children during the lockdown”.

Commenting on the initiative, actress Sameera Reddy said ““As a mother of two, I do realize how children have been missing out on multiple things due to the current situation, most importantly meeting friends and going to school. And the research results rightly points them out as well. As a parent, I feel, the need of the hour is for us to don multiple hats and try to fill that void by being a playful friend to our children.

The thoughtfulness and the in-depth study of this campaign by ITC Ltd.’s Jelimals Immunoz is what I truly appreciate. I am glad that through Jelimals Immunoz, ITC has delivered a win-win solution for moms and kids alike as it’ll aid us in being that playful friend to our child and also support their immunity needs.”
