Sukriti Kakar and Prakriti Kakar, the iconic sister duo are well established in the music and Bollywood industry. The twin sisters have charmed each and every one with their talents and unique skills pertaining to music.

Right from songs like Kar Gayi Chull and Hawa Hawa to the viral Indian remix of Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating’, the two have left no stone unturned and their hard-work is testament to their success.

Entering a new league, Sukriti and Prakriti are the new host of MTV Dil Beats season 4. It may seem like the pair have always lived a glamorous and ideal life but in an exclusive interview with Mid-day, they opened up about being ragged in school.

“We came to Bombay at the age of 10, and faced ragging too. Our school life wasn’t all flowery. We bring our experiences to the show”, explained Sukriti Kakkar. She mentioned that “I have been on the healthier side, and have faced issues related to body-shaming”.

Through this interview, we gauged that the twin sisters have worked hard to reach where they are today. Immense struggles and hard-ships have made them stronger to perform beautifully now.

The singers explained that they come from a place of experiences which they can and do in fact bring to the show. These incidents have helped them with the extra edge and the unique point that perhaps not many other successful stars can boast of.
