Nushrratt Bharuccha Opens Up on Shubhankar Mishra’s Podcast: “Unlike Star Kids, I Didn’t Get Many Opportunities in Bollywood”

Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha recently opened up about her journey in the industry during a candid conversation on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast She shared personal insights into her struggles and successes, making it an emotional and inspiring session.

Nushrratt revealed that she had to take on responsibilities at a young age due to her father's business struggles, which led her to audition for a TV commercial and eventually land her first film role in "Jai Santoshi Maa" in 2006

Her breakthrough came with the film "Love Sex Aur Dhokha" (2010) by Dibakar Banerjee Interestingly, she was initially rejected for the role, but got it after the original actress dropped out just days before the shoot.

In a moment of vulnerability, Nushrratt admitted to keeping her participation in the film a secret from her parents due to a kissing scene, fearing their reaction Luckily, the scene did not clearly show faces, allowing her to avoid any backlash.
