The movie starring Sonakshi sinha, Diljit Dosanjh, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh. 'Baahubali' actor Rana Dagubatti and 'MS Dhoni: The untold story' actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also seen in the trailer. It is first 3D movie which is directed by Chakri Toleti who is doing his debut in hindi film as a director. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani under Pooja films and Wiz films banner.

Sonakshi Sinha can be seen as 'Dhinchak designer' and Diljit Dosanjh as 'Gabru hero'.

With an extraordinary cast we can see spoof of films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Bombay Velvet, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Baahubali, Hera Pheri, Sholay.

It all started with a 'leak video' by Karan Johar where all the actors are seen in a conference call when they finally get interuppted by Salman Khan's call, and then finally a short glimpse of the movie. This is a very innovative way of introducing the films to the audience. Rana Dagubatti and Sushant Singh Rajput are not seen in this video.
