WHAT WENT WRONG ON AKSHAY'S 'KESARI' SET?

After Padman, Akshay Kumar is having a busy schedule because of handfull of projects. The actor upcoming movies are Gold, 2.0, Mogul and Kesari. Akshay is currently working on his film Kesari where something unusual happened.

Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi which also features Parineeti Chopra along with Akshay Kumar. Akshay is playing Havildar Ishwar Singh in the film which led the Sikhs in the fight.

Earlier, Akshay got injured on the sets of Kesari during a heavy-duty action sequence and now while shooting a war sequence, a bomb used for filming exploded and burnt down the sets to ashes within few minutes. A lot of lighting equipment and cameras were damaged, however, no one was hurt.

Director Anurag Singh, was shooting for the war sequence with the additional artists and none of the primary actors were needed for the scene. Akshay was done with his part and left late afternoon from the set.

It is being said that the team is considering to rebuild their set in Film City, Mumbai as everything has now turned into ashes and the makers are running short of time to recreate the Gulistan Fort on the sets, which is considered to be one of the important sites of the battle.

The news was confirmed by the police officials of Satara and said that the fire department of surrounding areas was alerted and the fire was brought under control by evening.
