Akshay Kumar is in the news for his upcoming film 'Raksha Bandhan', he is currently enjoying a family trip with his family to London. Recently at the book launch of "Hinduja and Bollywood '' held at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London, Akshay was asked whether he would join politics in future? Responding to this question, Akshay Kumar said that "I am happy only in films and making films with social issues".

According to news agency PTI, Akshay Kumar said, "I am very happy making films. As an actor, I try my best to raise social issues. I have acted in 150 films and the one which is closest to my heart is 'Raksha Bandhan'. Along with commercial films, I also make films on social issues at times. I produce 3-4 films in a year".

Akshay Kumar has highlighted the issue of dowry in his upcoming film 'Raksha Bandhan'. At the trailer launch of the film 'Raksha Bandhan', Akshay Kumar said, "While doing films, I don't just talk about the problem but also find the solution.

There are Solutions in 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Padman' and other films. Similarly, in this film 'Raksha Bandhan' the problems regarding dowry have been solved. What we and our society should do is the answer. This film will give a solution to the problem."

Talking about Akshay Kumar's workfront, he will be seen playing the lead role along with actress Bhumi Pednekar in the film 'Raksha Bandhan' which is helmed by Aanand L Rai.

This will be the second film of Akshay and Bhumi in which they are sharing the screen together. Before this, both were seen in the film 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha'. The film 'Raksha Bandhan' is going to release in theaters on August 11.

Along with this, the film 'Raksha Bandhan' is going to compete with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Lal Singh Chaddha' as that too will be released on August 11. It remains to be seen which of the two films wins the hearts of the audience.
