It's been more than a year since Mrunal Thakur entered the South film industry with the film 'Seetha Ramam'. Well, she has already become one of the most sought-after heroines of the South and Hindi film industry with several big projects where she is being paired opposite big names in both the Hindi and South cinema world. Recently, she announced her next Telugu film with Vijay Deverakonda. This movie is currently being dubbed VD13. Earlier, she came into the limelight with her upcoming project 'Hi Nanna' opposite Telugu star Nani. And, of course, she has nailed it with her stellar performance in her Telugu debut Seetha Ramam opposite Dulquer Salmaan.

Mrunal says, “From the very beginning when I started working on Sita Ramam, members and people of the South film industry immediately welcomed me with immense warmth and love. The industry has some of the best actors in the country and I am grateful that I am getting to share the screen space with them. Be it Dulquer, Nani and now Vijay, they are different actors with very different fan bases. There is never a dull day for me on set with him, not even for a moment. The love I got for Seetha Ramam, I hope I get the same love for my upcoming films- 'Hi Nana and #VD13.'

Talking about Vijay, she said, “I am looking forward to working with Vijay as I know we can learn a lot together from each other as actors. As of now, we have started prepping and the shooting of the film will begin soon, and sharing screen space with Vijay is something I am looking forward to. Whatever roles he plays on screen, he has the amazing ability to bring out this brilliant glow when he is in front of the camera. With every film, he has given memorable characters that stay etched in our memories, be it Dr. Arjun Reddy Deshmukh in Arjun Reddy or Vijay Anthony in Mahanati.

The VD13 team is about to start shooting soon. The project marks the reunion of Vijay and director Parasuram after Geetha Govindam, which was a huge hit.

In the video, Vijay in his dapper style wearing a blue kurta, is standing on the stage giving a speech, and suddenly a crazy fan breaks the security cordon and moves towards him with lightning speed and tries to touch his feet. Startled, Vijay instinctively backs away to avoid the crazy fan's touch. Just then his security personnel immediately intervenes and removes the fan from the stage.
The video was circulated on various social media platforms, raising concerns about Vijay's safety. Some observers criticized the security lapse, expressing dismay at the fan's behavior. A user tweeted, "This is unacceptable. No true fan would do this to Vijay Deverakonda." Another user said, 'It is disrespectful to approach a celebrity like this during an event.'
