That’s because his latest rhythmic-dance based film ‘Dehati Disco’ ( releasing on May 27th ) has become a viral-tending on-line sensation. Discloses dance-masterji Ganesh, “ Our terrific ‘Dehati Disco’ trailer has merited over 15 million views and our songs (with our popular new dance hook-steps) are crossing over six million views.

It’s so overwhelming that my fans and music and dance-lovers are fully supporting us, “ smiled Ganesh. Ever since the announcement of the ‘Dehati Disco Challenge’, Bollywood has been on a roll extending their support.

After Vicky Kaushal making a fun reel to showcase the trending dance steps of the title track, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor too hopped on this challenge and extended their support to the upcoming film which dares to be different.

Star-maker Ganesh-masterji has introduced in his movie this talented young kid-dancer Master Saksham Sharma and his assistant choreographer Sahil M. Khan as one of the lead actor-dancer characters with negative shades.

Sahil is a tall handsome hunk and a former fabulous back-ground dancer. In fact, while on the stage, even ‘guest-of-honour modest Varun Dhawan openly appreciated Sahil’s dancing skills and smart looks as he stood next to him.

Later Sahil confided to me that that” he shares his birthday (April 24th) with Varun Dhawan. This is a great morale-booster for me and I am fully grateful to confident Ganesh Master-ji for launching me in ‘Dehati Disco’ and also to director Manoj Sharma for bringing the best out of me,” shared actor Sahil who is cast as a westernized grey-shades character “Jack” ( Jaikishan) who has returned from a foreign country having trained in western-dance and has his this bitter rivalry with Ganesh’s dehati team in our movie.

Speaking about family-entertainer ‘Dehati Disco’, the director and co-writer Manoj Sharma explains that for a welcome change, there is “no formula hero or no romantic heroine and no typical romantic songs in our movie.

The subject itself is the hero and the dance-music is the heroine. Yes there are supporting female artistes. It is basically an emotional bonding between a single-parent father ( Ganesh) and his son ( Saksham) who is a child-prodigy dancer.

Our intense dramatic movie is rhythmic dance based musical subject based in a region where dancing is considered ‘taboo’ ( prohibited) yet it highlights our desi culture earthy folk-dances versus western dances ( check out the song ‘Uparwale Ke Hawaale’).

That’s how we got internationally well-known South-based composer rhythm-master ‘Drums Sivamani’ ( a close associate of legendary composer-singer A R Rahman) as the music director who is known for excellent sound designing.

We have three relatively new amazing playback voices Nakul Abhyankar, Divya and Bhanu Pandit who have sung the chartbuster songs,” says talented director Manoj Sharma who has various released Hindi movies to his credit including Prakash Electronic (2017), ‘Yehi Hai Lollipop (2016- Om Puri’s last movie), ‘ Life Mein Time Nahin Hai Kisiko’(2019) and ‘Sharmaji Ki Lag Gayi’ (2019 .

Interestingly ‘Life Mein..’ and ‘Sharmaji Ki..’ movies have TV superstar versatile comedian Krushna Abhishek in the cast as one of the lead actors.
