What made Neelu Vaghela cry?

All of us will agree to the fact that most women think from their heart. They are very vocal about their emotions and do not shy away from showing them as well. There are moments when women are unable to control their emotions and we see them hug each other and shed tears of joy or sadness. A similar incident happened on the sets of Sony Entertainment Television’s show ‘Main Maayke Chali Jaaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo’ recently. While shooting for a particular sequence, Neelu Vaghela who essays the role of Satya Devi couldn’t stop crying!

‘Main Maayke Chali Jaaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo’ is a unique take on the relation between a mother and daughter and how over intrusiveness by the mother in the life of her married daughter leads to difficult and comical situations. Recently, the team of actors were shooting the Bidaai sequence of Satya Devi’s daughter Jaya (essayed by Srishti Jain) where an overtly emotional Neelu couldn’t hold back her tears! Such was an impact of the emotional scene that the veteran actress continued to cry even after the shot was over and the cameras had stopped rolling!

When contacted Neelu Waghela confirmed, “Yes, I did have an emotional moment while shooting the bidaai sequence. While shooting for this scene, I felt as if my real daughter had got married and was leaving for her sasural! I share a close bond with Srishti, my on-screen daughter and even after the director said ‘Cut’ multiple times, I was still stuck in the moment and couldn’t stop tears rolling down my face. The entire unit was a bit surprised witnessing me crying on the sets. Daughters are really special.”
