When Randeep broke down while shooting for Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai

All of us experience ups and downs in our lives. Sometimes, we get so involved with certain events in our lives that they take a toll on us and we end up going through emotional outbursts. Recently, one such incident took place on the sets of Sony Entertainment Television’s show 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai'. The love relation depicted between the lead couple of the show Naina (Ashi Singh) and Sameer (Randeep Rai) is pure and eternal. No one would ever want the lovely couple to be apart from each other. But what if this comes true? Yes, one of the most loved couple on television - Naina and Sameer will separate from each other soon.

While shooting the separation sequence, everyone on the sets got a tad bit emotional along with the lead actors. The always happy-go-lucky couple found it difficult to shoot for the same. The on-screen bond between Naina and Sameer is very strong, hence while shooting for this sequence, Randeep broke down for real! The whole unit was stunned looking at Sameer as he shed tears. Sources from the set said that Randeep was completely engrossed in his character as Sameer and he actually broke down when Naina tells him that she wants to end the relation.

When contacted Randeep confirmed, “Yes it's true. I had an emotional moment on the sets while shooting the scene when Naina tells Sameer that she wants to put a stop to their relation. Since inception, the bond between Sameer and Naina has been very strong. And now when I had to shoot a scene where Sameer parts ways with the person whom he loves the most, it was similar to the end of the world! I was so involved in the scene that tears started rolling down my eyes! I found it a bit amusing later that I was involved in the scene to that extent! In a way I feel that every actor goes through such experiences once in a while as we spend most of our time in the shoes of our on-screen characters.”
