The new family-friendly engaging Hindi GEC from the house of Shemaroo strengthens its content offering with the launch of its first original TV show ‘Kismat Ki Lakiro Se’. The family-friendly TV show with sentimental ‘cross-connections’ and ‘emotional dilemmas’ is produced by acclaimed telly-baroness Rashmi Sharma.

The show takes the home audiences on a roller-coaster journey of destiny and relationships with lots of family emotional drama, music-dance, festivities and romance. The sudden twists and turns of the ‘KKLS’ show will certainly satiate the need of family entertainment of home-viewers.

The TV show will be aired on Shemaroo-Umang channel from 5th September at 8 pm prime-time slot, Monday to Saturday. These announcements were made at a well-organised formal media-meet event brilliantly compered by the vibrant (former Bollywood movie actress-turned-TV journalist) Pooja Kanwal-Mahtani.

The central lead cast ‘Kismat Ki Lakiro Se’ includes popular telly daily soap celebrities like charming Shaily Priya Pandey ( as elder sister ‘Shraddha Dikshit’ who is sorted and chilled) and beautiful Sumati Singh ( as her younger sister in contrast-character who is flashy and vibrant), smart dude lover-boy Varun Sharma , (his brother-character played by ) macho-hero Abhishek Pathania.

The leads will be supported by a strong cast like Farooq Saeed, Khushi Rajpoot, Arup Pal, Eva Shirali, Ashish Kaul, Tanu Vidhyarthi, Dolly Kaushik, Nadiya Himani and Sheetal While off-screen, the articulate outspoken actress Shaily strongly believes that destiny is the critical deciding factor for opportune success, her co-star actress Sumati considers divine intervention and God’s will as the crucial factor that shapes our fate and fortune.

Shemaroo Umang’s first original is launched in partnership with Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, a production company that has produced daily soaps like Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Sasural Simar Ka, and Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, amongst others. Not surprisingly, Rashmi is “simply super-excited” with her banner collaboration debut with Shemaroo-Umang.

Launched in April this year, Shemaroo Umang is the recent addition to Shemaroo’s existing portfolio of FTA channels, Shemaroo TV and Shemaroo MarathiBana.

The newly launched show will be aired from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm making it a must watch prime-time content. Shemaroo Umang is currently available on DD Free Dish, various MSO and on major DTH and cable networks.
