The Come September theme was evidently ‘lifted’ and smartly adapted in two Bollywood musical films.

The first is ‘Raja’ ( 1995) and the evergreen chartbuster duet-song sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik is Nazrein Mili Dil Dhadka’ picturised on the charismatic stunning actress Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor..

Out here the composers who apparently ‘lifted’ the tune are duo Nadeem Shravan. Movie ‘Raja was directed by Indra Kumar.

The second song is ‘Dole Dole Dil Dole’ (inspired from Come September theme) is sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and the song is picturised on ( hold-your-breath) ‘beautiful’ hero Aamir Khan dressed in female costume in the movie ‘Baazi’ (1995 ).

This tune was cleverly adapted by composer Anu Malik. Movie Baazi was directed by the iconic Ashutosh Gowariker ( of ‘Lagaan’ fame).

Interesting to note that both movies Raja and Baazi released during year 1995.
Composer of ‘Come September theme music Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert Cassotto ) was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician, and actor.
