While Mahesh Bhatt Doesn’t Speak Even One Line In The Film Yours Truly, Vinay Pathak Uses Only His Voice

The film Yours Truly which is now being streamed on the platform of Zee 5 boasts of one rare distinction. It has Mahesh Bhatt in a special appearance towards the end of the film but interestingly, he does not have even one line to speak. Mahesh Bhatt plays an old man who is the recipient of letters regularly from Soni Razdan, who is an old woman who is living her life all alone in a dilapidated old house in the outskirts of Kolkata. Yours truly is the first film in which Mahesh Bhatt has been pitted along with real life wife Soni Razdan. Besides Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, the film Yours Truly also stars Aahana Kumra as Soni’s modern younger sister, Pankaj Tripathy as her cozy neighbor and Vinay Pathak who contributes to the film as the voice of the railway announcer and does not appear even in one scene. The unique film which has a duration of just an hour and a quarter has been directed by Sanjoy Nag who had earlier directed Rituparno Ghosh in the film Memories of March, in which Deepti Naval and Raima Sen were also pitted along with Rituparno Ghosh.
