Why didn't Paresh Rawal choose to be a part of "Oh My God 2"?

Now that the sequel film 'OMG-Oh My God' is ready as 'OMG 2' and its release date (11 August 2023) has been announced. People are disappointed to see the teaser of the film. The absence of Paresh Rawal in the next part of the film is troubling the people. Paresh Rawal was the hero of the first part of this story sequence. which are not in the second part. Although the makers need to make it clear that this film 'OMG 2' definitely keeps the style of the first film, the story is different in both. And maybe they do.

Akshay Kumar in 'OMG 2' is in the same avatar as he was in the first 'OMG - Oh My God as Kanhaiya-Krishna. The difference is that he was Krishna there, in this second version of 'OMG 2' he is in the avatar of Lord Bholenath-Shiva. The rest of the actors have all changed. In 'Oh My God', Paresh Rawal was in the role of the main character Kanji Lalji Mehta (Kanji Bhai) who happens to be an atheist. He does not believe in the existence of God. Mithun Chakraborty, Govind Namdev, Murali Sharma, Mahesh Manjrekar etc. were in supporting roles in that film along with Paresh.
'OMG 2' stars Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role (besides Akshay Kumar's God Roop) as Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who is a believer in God and gets into so many problems that he repeatedly calls God for help. Other main cast of the film along with Pankaj Tripathi are Yami Gautam, Arun Govil (Ram of Ramayana serial) etc.

Paresh Rawal was the first choice of 'OMG 2'. The role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal aka Kanti Bhai was also written keeping Paresh Rawal in mind. The reason behind why he did not do the film, he has been saying that he did not like the subject. He didn't want to do a repeat role. But, this is just a telling reason. Paresh Rawal has done repeat role earlier also in films like 'Hera Pheri' and the sequel film of his is also coming. If there is no power in the subject then why would a producer like Vipul D Shah make it? There are inside reports that Paresh had demanded a lot of remuneration for the sequel of this film. He was the hero of the first part, everyone said, wrote and believed the same. Therefore, the payment demanded by Paresh Rawal was more than that of Akshay Kumar. The producer had also offered him a budget share for which he was not ready. He was only interested in taking the dividend which did not work out. Please tell me that Akshay Kumar is also a producer in 'OMG 2'. The film is produced by Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Aruna Bhatia and Rajesh Behl. Writer-director is Amit Rai. Music is given by Vikram Montrose.

It is being told that sex education has been advocated in this upcoming film. Along with this, Lord Shiva has also been shown in the film. The Censor Board is in discussion of sending the film to the review committee for not being able to muster up the courage to censor it. It will be interesting to see whether the news coming from Paresh Rawal regarding 'OMG 2' is true or is it true that he is asking for more remuneration?
