Why Is Kumar Sanu Scared Of Salman?

Sony Entertainment Television’s show Indian Idol 10 has been hitting the right notes with everyone – from the viewers to the music industry! Little wonder then, legendary Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu who crooned his way into our hearts all through the 90s, made a reappearance as a special guest on the ‘Return of Kumar Sanu’ special episode of Indian Idol 10. Such is the bond between the Indian Idol contestants and Kumar Sanu that they decided to give him yet another ode by singing his hit songs through the 90s. Kumar Sanu was not only delighted to be a part of the show. However, he also mentioned how he is extremely scared of Salman Ali!

He said, “These contestants sing so well! I am scared of some of them, especially Salman Ali! Fantastic, amazing high notes he takes. Out of the world. I wanted to check if they can sing romantic songs, as they sing classical. And these contestants did it and did it very well!” Echoing his sentiment, Indian Idol Judge Javed Ali said, “Salman, you have made established singers to do riyaaz every day because of high notes you hit.”
