Why is Mansi Sharma watching Pakistani daily soaps ?

StarPlus’ show Mariam Khan – Reporting Live has been receiving rave reviews from the audiences for its captivating story line and gripping screen play. While the cast of the show is leaving no stone unturned to make the show is huge success, there are a few things the cast has done which are heart touching.

Show’s newest addition, Mansi Sharma has been doing something unique to be in her character’s skin completely. Essaying the role of Aayat (Mariam’s Fufi), the actress being from a Pakistan origin in the show, is watching a lot of Pakistani daily soaps to get that touch of Urdu in her slang. While on the show as she is from Pakistan, the actress has to talk in a peculiar Urdu accent, which she learns from her co-star Khalid and watching a lot of Pakistani shows.

She has also been following the work of Pakistani bands like Jal, and has been practicing her accent on and off the set to get the bit perfect!
