Why is Neil Nitin Mukesh so thrilled to make his filmy music video debut with ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui’ directed by Adhyayan S. Suman ? by Chaitanya Padukone

Versatile handsome macho star-hero Neil Nitin Mukesh seems maha-thrilled with the phenomenal millions of viewers' responses to his latest trending long-lingering  ‘filmy’ musical thriller video ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui,’  Where he is paired opposite qualified dentist-turned-gorgeous model Shreya Sharma-- who also makes her video-debut. The vibrant filmy-format video is directed by the multi-talented smart actor-director Adhyayan S.Suman, who in this video has ‘not-faced’ the camera!  While amazing singer Ankit Tiwari has sung the solo song written and composed by Rashid Khan, the negative-shades menacing character is played by ‘full-time DJ’ Rahul Biswas

Since  I know Neil Nitin Mukesh personally, even before he plunged into the  vast pool of movies, I am aware that Neil has  always dared to be different, innovative and loves to re-invent himself all through his acting career.   Instead of a conventional romantic debut, maverick Neil made a huge impact with his grey-shades anti-hero lead role in  ‘Johnny Gaddar’ (2007).

What was the reason that Neil  decided to make his debut in this music-video. ?  Reacted Neil, “ There were two major reasons. One was that, this year (2023) is the Birth Centenary year of my grandfather legendary singer Mukesh-saab. So since my father Nitin Mukesh-jee would be performing at  ‘Shatayu Mukesh’  tribute live concerts in the US and Canada.this month, it was expected that I should also be doing some musical venture, Which is how I decided to act in a fantastic unique rare-genre music video titled ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui’ ,” shares Neil  ( a staunch Lord Ganesha-bhakt) who has the blessings of  father Nitin and grandfather Mukesh and of course Lord Ganesha. Also at the star-studded release event a galaxy of senior showbiz celebs

What was rare, unique and so fantastic about this  video ?   Responds Neil, “The whole concept and the execution of  our content-driven video is simply spectacular. Director Adhayan Suman who has directed over ten music videos previously is a  brilliant director-visualizer . These days most music videos have a short internet life and diminishing recall value. But our unique video ‘ Tu Meri Aashiqui’  perhaps the first of its kind, has been shot just like a movie—it’s a short anthology film divided into three parts ( Escape, Tryst and Revenge—love, betrayal and redemption ).. It’s like a slick musical mesmerizing story-thriller mini-movie with intense high-octane drama and romantic dialogues. At the same time you will see me looking suave and in some of the scenes with blood trickling on my face.  Even the newcomer heroine Shreya Sharma  has also projected natural de-glam looks and intense emotions.  We shot most of the scenes in 50 degrees-plus scorching-hot climate on the Dubal outdoor locales. The three videos have tried to match international standards in terms of  lavish production-values, spectacular cinematography and excellent vocal music by Ankit Tiwari,” discloses Neil who  says he has always been an ardent fan of showman Raj Kapoor, his star-son Rishi Kapoor and now the third generation star-hero Ranbir Kapoor for their impressive screen-performances and perfect  lip-sync to songs. .  .

Besides the jubilant star-fathers Nitin Mukesh  and  Shekhar Suman and  delighted brother (director) Naman Nitin Mukesh , the galaxy of guests celebs turn-out at the music-video launch included senior well-wishers like  Jeetendra , Rakesh Roshan, director Indra Kumar (Indu Irani)  star-actors Vivek Oberoi, Rohit Roy, model-actress Nishi Yadav, multi-faceted model-actress-social influencer Jaswinder Gardner,  life-style influencer model-actress Dr. Marita Monteirro , model-actress Raviraa Bhardwaj and glam TV actress-model Nyraa Banerji.

All the invited celebrities  seemed to be highly impressed and appreciated the creative collaboration efforts of  Neil Nitin Mukesh, Shreya Sharma and director Adhyayan Suman. Which was evident in the filmy music video   Both Adhyayan and Neil will continue with their upcoming acting assignments. While Adhyayan also plans to direct feature films, he will also face the camera in the primary lead cast.
