Will  Katrina Kaif -Vicky Kaushal also be a super-hit ‘on-screen’ couple  ? 

It is not always necessary in Bollywood that a lead actor and a heroine have to work together on-screen to become very friendly. Then to ultimately realize that they are meant ‘ek-duuje-ke-liye’ and become  life-partners bonded by matrimony - Chaitanya  Padukone

The ‘VicKat’ shaadi ( Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif)  which took place this week is a shining example of  how destiny and the electronic-news-media can also play ‘cupid and match-makers’. As is known, they never acted as co-stars in any movie,    

If insiders are to be believed, both Vicky and Katrina are considering signing a romantic film together after they resume work after their honeymoon.

The high-profiled popular actors Vicky-Katrina are expected to take it up after completing work on their pending movie projects.

Reportedly, Katrina and Vicky have apparently been flooded with tempting offers of films to play the lead pair ever since their relationship became official.

They feel that now the time is just right to cash in. The new film they are being offered is reportedly going to be with a big production house, headed by a close common friend where both play the romantic leads opposite each other, with the kahani-mein-twists. 

Whether the VicKat screen pair will be a huge hit, is the multi-million dollar question. Most film folks feel that if the story, the content and songs are really good,  the new movie will be a blockbuster.

At the same time cine-trade pundits feel that the very first released film co-starring Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal may merit a fabulous opening--- as there will be a frenzied curiosity among fans and cine-goers to check out the hottest pair of this season.   

Is the down-to-earth simple next-door neighbor modest desi boy Vicky a perfect match for the sophisticated westernized  Katrina, is what is jogging in the minds of most Bolly buffs.  

By nature if Katrina is a true sensitive, savvy  yet outspoken (zodiac-sign) Cancerian, then Taurus-zodiac sign macho Vicky is a chilled-out, sentimental family-man with a compatible nature. Interestingly both are born on the 16th ( 1+6 = 7) and Vicky is younger by almost five years. So it appears that they are bound to be lifetime wedded partners.    

Vicky and Katrina have never worked together in a film. So how did the rumoured couple meet? It is believed that everything started on Karan Johar’s TV chat show Koffee with Karan.

In a 2019 episode, Karan asked Katrina who she would like to work with, in her next project. The diva named Vicky, stating that they would look really good together.

Later, when Vicky and Ayushmann Khurrana came as guests on the show, Karan shared Katrina’s statement with the actor. Vicky was quite surprised and pretended to faint on the couch.

Karan Johar’s TV chat show Koffee with Karan is said to have played cupid in their  real-life prem-kahani.  

Then for the first time,  Katrina and Vicky came together for an episode of Film Companion’s Tape Cast digital chat show. It is believed to be their first in-person formal long-meeting facing the camera.

During the digital chat show, they asked each other tricky yet smart questions regarding their family, friends, and experience of working in the film industry.

Film Companion has its mission to act as an ‘ice breaker’ between top actors who have never worked together or don’t know each other quite well.

Later, the lovey-dovey couple VicKat were spotted at various noted award functions, and at one of them Vicky had jokingly proposed to Katrina.

But they had never openly admitted their relationship. Vicky and Katrina made their first public appearance together at a friend’s Diwali party and were also together seen attending the screening of Shershaah in August 2021.. 

Though their public appearances together were very geenay-chunay, Vicky was seen visiting Katrina at her home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the destination-venue of their royal lavish wedding is called “Six Senses Fort-Barwara” at Sawai Madhopur , should we presume that  Vivaah VicKat was a result of both their ‘sixth sense’ telling them that they could be shaadi-shuda ‘jeevan saathis’  for a lifetime ?  How is the Josh –super-high ! Right Vicky ?
