Arshad Warsi said in an interview to The Indian Express, he said that he does not think that a third film will come. “Munnabhai MBBS gave new life to my career. Before that I didn't have any film for three-four years. I was completely out of the public eye. We have been waiting for the last 16 years for the next film but to be honest I don't think that film will come. I wanted the third film so that we can also get closure. The audience deserves so much. But I think it's been too long."

Arshad also said that if a creative person is asked to do the same thing again and again, he starts feeling suffocated, He wants to move on as an actor and he feels that Raju Hirani also does something different and new.
