Ever since she discovered that her husband shunned his parental duties, she worked hard to provide her children a happy life and a bright future and ensured that they never feel the lack of a father figure.

She is both a mother and a father to her children, and she does an excellent job at both. From playing cricket with her sons to spending mother-daughter time with Rashi, and from feeding her children to being their backbone in times of need, Pushpa does it all.

All of her children's needs, whether financial, emotional, or material, are met as a result of her efforts. She is the kind of mother who will teach her kids a lesson when they are wrong but also comfort them and give them a supportive hug when they are in distress.

As a result of her wonderful parenting, her children, even the two mischievous younger ones, have grown into wonderful human beings.

Naveen Pandita who portrays Ashwin, Pushpa’s eldest son shares,”Since his childhood Ashwin has been the witness to his mother's struggles and seen her work hard to make ends meet after his father left. She has always prioritised her children over everything else.

She ensured that Ashwin didn't feel the sudden absence of a father by playing the role of both parents in his lfe. She took care of his every need be it financial, emotional or basic. In today's world, where these responsibilities are shared between parents, she handled it all by herself."

Deshna Dugad who plays Pushpa’s daughter Rashi comments, ”Rashi is the youngest and has no idea how difficult it is for her mother to be a single parent.

It will take her some time to realise that raising three children without the help of their father is tough.

Pushpa however doesn’t let that affect her and fullfills both the roles beautifully. She works extra hard to provide a comfortable life for her and her siblings and to satisfy all of their needs.”

But he never felt the need to have his father around thanks to Pushpa. From daily banters to meaningful lessons she kept him occupied and happy.

Pushpa did everything for him, from playing cricket with him to being his teacher to making sure he was well dressed and fed to being his support system. She is his jack of all trades!”
