No one can deny that Mrs. Indra Gandhi the first female prime minister of India was one of the most fascinating characters in the history of India - Ali Peter John

No doubt, she has being a subject in flims and documentaries, the most popular being the flim made by Gulzaar, Aandhi with Suchitra Sen playing a fictional version of Mrs. Gandhi and Mrs. Gandhi appearing in a documentary made on her by the well known flim maker Basu Bhattacharya.

And now Lara Dutta , the former Miss Universe has played another version of Mrs. Gandhi in "Bell Bottom" , in which she co- stars with Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor.

At a recent press meet in New Delhi to realse the trailer of "Bell Bottom" , it was Lara who caught the attention of the media because of her near resemblance to Mrs. Gandhi.

It was a major achievement for her make-up man who used prosthetics and other being to transform her face to the face of Mrs Gandhi.

Lara gave all the credit for her transformation to her make-up man . And the media unanimously said that the make-up man should be recommend for a national award.

How Lara will look in the flim as Indra will be seen soon when bell bottom will be released in single screen theaters soon .
