Speaking to the media at a press conference organized by PIB, 'Rautu Ki Belly' lead actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that films depicting authentic stories with local twists from across the country will get recognition globally. The more local they put, the more global it gets.
Answering a question regarding choosing his role in a film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that I do not want to limit myself to just a particular type of role and I would prefer a diversity of roles. He further said that he would like to do any kind of role. While playing a role, one tries to live the life of that character to such an extent that the life of that character and one's own life merge into one.
When actor Siddiqui was asked about a role he would be keen to play in the future, he said, “If given the opportunity, I would like to play the role of spiritual guru Osho.” Answering the question, Director, Anand Surapur said that passion for storytelling and unique ideas are my main sources of inspiration.
Shariq Patel, CEO of Zee Studios and screenwriter of the film 'Rautu Ki Belly', said that the film is a film that transcends genre in terms of its portrayal of characters and has a unique story of a mysterious murder. Talking about it, he said that the film will be available on ZEE5 in early 2024.
