YAMI GAUTAM TO ATTEND COURT PROCEEDINGS TO PREP FOR HER ROLE IN BATTI GUL METER CHALU

After Sarkaar 3, Yami Gautam is now all set for her upcoming two movies that is Uri and Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Apart from Uri which is an Aditya Dhar film and is based on the Uri attacks of 2016, the actor is working hard for Batti Gul Meter Chalu. After a lot of delay, Shree Narayan Singh directorial finally seems to be back on track.

Talking about Yami's part in the movie, the actress is playing a Lawyer is hoping to catch a few court proceedings to understand things better and how it works. Yami wanted to understand how actually a court-room works to give her perfect shot.

According to a leading daily, Yami said, "I am planning to attend one of the court sessions for sure before starting Batti Gul Meter Chalu. As of now since its summer holidays, my lawyer friend and team are figuring a vacation bench session that I can attend on the basis my schedule currently. I am looking forward to the real experience at a court.”

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a social drama that will talk about the issues of electric bills in small towns. Shahid Kapoor will be also seen playing the character of Lawyer in the movie. The movie is slated to release on  August 31.
