Yash Raj Films announce their first OTT project

Yash Raj Films is one of the leading film banners in bollywood industry, they are well known for making movies on different concepts, but recently their Bunty aur Babli 2 did not work well for them in theaters, they always prefer to release their project in theaters rather than on any OTT platforms.

As we all know due to pandemic the rise of OTT platforms are much bigger than theaters, yes we can agree that watching a movie on 70 MM is always better than watching on Mobile phones, but OTT provides us the same content in a cheaper way, Well COVID-19 has taught us that time can not be the same always, it will definitely change after some time and we have to change yourself accordingly to that so we can adapt the current time.

Well a news is coming from B-town that Yash Raj Films is all set to make their debut in digital Platform, in other words we can say that YRF studios has finally decided to go toe to toe with this generation.

Today YRF studios shared the news on their social media account for their fans, while sharing the news they wrote

As we can see for their digital debut, makers have decided to showcase the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, as per the reports after having discussion for a long time makers have finally locked the names of the starcast, the series will star Kay Kay Menon, R Madhavan, Divyenndu Sharma and Babil Khan son of Lt. Irrfan Khan.

The have named the series as "The Railway Men", it will depict the story of railway workers at Bhopal Station and how they saved countless lives during the tragedy which shocked everyone globally, it is going to be directed by the debutant director Shiv Rawail who is the son of veteran director Rahul Rawail.

Yash Raj Studios has announced five OTT projects including this one for the 2022 release, as per the sources YRF studios have created a large set in Kalina, and have mounted a budget of Rs 100 Cr, well the shooting has already begun from yesterday and will release on December 2, 2022.

Well there is no such information related to which platform they will release the series because makers are currently locking the streaming platform.
