YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI TO HAVE A 2 YEAR LEAP

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has completed 2650 episodes so far and does not look to be stopping anytime soon. With Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi at the forefront, the show has completed 9 successful years.

The show will take a 2-year time leap soon and the show's maker Rajan Sahi confirms this by saying;  "The show will undergo a revamp where the sets and the storyline is concerned.  Not only is the story going to change but fresh talent will also be added to the cast."

There is a buzz that this time the story will be based out of Udaipur. A leading daily quoted its source saying;  "Besides Udaipur, the story will show Mumbai city for the first time. Mumbai will be explored beautifully in the show. More characters will be included from the city in the storyline as well,"

"The success is because the makers have kept the core of the show always intact. And keeping that in mind, the soul and the texture of the show will not change. A number of shows have come and gone, but Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has always stood out as a strong pillar of Star Plus," the source added.

The two-year time leap on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will commence from May 21, 2018.
