Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’s Sameer and Naina to recreate the magic of 90s

The golden era from the 90’s has secured a special place in the heart of audiences. With popular Bollywood celebrities making a remarkable presence on screen, their performances have remained untouched and untainted ever since its commencement. The impeccable chemistry between yester year Bollywood couples have impressed audiences across the nation. One such iconic pair that ruled the hearts of fans is none other than the iconic pair of Jeetendra and Jaya Prada who not only scored great accolades for their song ‘Tohfa Tohfa Laya Laya’ but created splendid magic in the film fraternity.

Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Ye Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’, that has brought back the essence of the 90’s era is all set to embark on a special journey with Sameer and Naina. The cute on-screen couple will be seen recreating the magic of the hit 90s song Tohfa Tohfa. The show that’s made audiences nostalgic since its inception will now present another glamorous segment where Sameer and Naina will be seen dancing and reliving the yesteryear film moments.  The audiences have recently witnessed intense drama with Sameer and Naina’s breakup, will breathe a sigh of relief matters reaching an amicable point. Dressed in an orange and golden embroidered lehenga and an orange coloured choli, jewellery matching those that of Jaya, Naina will resemble the veteran actor Jaya Prada. Sameer will resemble veteran actor Jeetendra with a blend of benevolence, innocence and charm.

When contacted Ashi Singh said, “When I got to know that we will be recreating the epic 90s song ‘Tohfa Tohfa Laya Laya’. I was super excited.  It is one of my all-time favourite Jeetendra and Jaya Prada song! Before the shoot, I saw this song multiple times to ensure that I portray the perfect expression and dance step. It was a very nice experience, and Randeep and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We clicked many photos as the shoot location was also decorated in exactly the same way as the movie! Even In real life, whenever someone gifts me anything I start humming the same song without realizing it. I am sure audiences will love our performance.”
