YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT'S DILJIT DOSANJH NEXT BOLLYWOOD PROJECT IS

The Super Singh of Bollywood, also famously known the 'smart sardar', Diljit Dosanjh is quickly reaching the A-lister status in the industry. After his debut in Udta Punjab, he started getting loads of offers from films as well as television despite his next two films, Phillauri and Super Singh not doing so well.

Now, for his next venture, he is going to play the protagonist in a sports biopic on hockey player Sandeep Singh, which is apparently being produced by Chitrangda Singh. According to Bollywood Hungama, Dosanjh has been linked to various projects but it seems he’s keen to star in this biopic, which is likely to be directed by Shaad Ali. The film is set to get backing from Sony Pictures Networks.

The report also states that, Chitrangda had bought the rights of the film three years ago and wasn't intending to wait for so long but had to because of other commitments and the constant search for an actor to fit the role.

It is also being said that Sandeep Singh is a huge fan of Ranbir Kapoor and was keen on the actor playing his role after he had seen his Sikh avatar in Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year. Sandeep Singh recently not only confirmed about his biopic being in the making but also expressed his excitement over people watching about his life.

Singh was the former captain of the Indian hockey team and despite his major injury in 2006, he returned with equal vigour and enthusiasm to help India become one of the top contenders in the later years. As of now, he is the Deputy Superintendent of the Haryana police.

Chitrangda Singh has apparently tied up with Sneha Rajani of Sony TV for the film and the prep for the same has already begun. If rumours are to be believed, the film is expected to roll out by the end of this year. "

Let's see what this Sardaar has to showcase this time for his humongous fan following.
