Zachary Levi And Asher Angel Worked On Their Sarcasm Together For SHAZAM!

Set firmly in the DC universe with his own distinctly fun, family-centric tone, the superhero film Shazam is all set to release in India on April 5,2019. The film is a story of wish fulfillment, as teen orphan Billy Batson (Asher Angel) is granted the ability by an ancient wizard to transform into a super-powered adult with strength, invincibility, flight and other powers -- all by saying the wizard’s name: Shazam! As both the characters that is Billy Batson played by Asher Angel and SHAZAM played by Zachary Levi are two  sides of the same character, Angel and Levi  never shared the screen.  However, to create one cohesive superhero out of two performances Zachary Levi and Asher Angel spent a little time together  to get out some general mannerisms in sync.

Zachary Levi said, “We needed to find some common ground to give both performances a similar essence.  Billy has a sarcastic streak, and we both picked right up on that”

Asher Angel further adds, “It was important for us to figure out each other’s mannerisms and do some things the same so the audience will always understand it’s the same person on screen” The actors who first met at another films event hit it off really well and started working on the prep together to get in sync with the character .

Directed by David F. Sandberg (of Annabelle: Creation fame) this film is based on how we all have a superhero inside us and it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. This fun superhero adventure is all  set to release in India on April 5,2019 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 2D and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures.
