ZAID KHAN SAYS HE IS JUST LIKE MARUTI WHILE SUDEEP KICHCHA & YASH (OF KGF FAME) ARE LIKE MERCEDES

Zaid Khan is playing the main lead opposite Sonal Monteiro in director Jayathirtha’s latest PAN India Kannada film, Banaras, like KGF and Pushpa, RRR and Liger. By the way, it was Jayathirtha, who had directed Kannada films like Bell Bottom and Beautiful Manasugalu. The film Banaras is being produced by Tilakraj Ballal. 90 percent of the film was shot in Banaras.

Zaid Khan says that he is really indebted to not only the Kannada super star Dr Ravi Chandran but also Arbaaz Khan who had come all the way from Mumbai to Bengaluru to be the chief guests at the trailer launch function of his film Banaras. Talking about Arbaaz, who he adds is a good family friend, Zaid says that though he had not invited him for the function, Arbaaz Khan himself had called him to ask him why he had forgotten to invite him for the trailer function ad said that he will turn up for the joyous occasion.

Zaid , who happens to be the son of a politician doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of his father and become a politician added that producer Tilakraaj Ballal who has produced the film Banaras is like his uncle and Godfather too. Zaid Khan, who bears a striking resemblance to Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana reiterated that the Kannada film industry needs a sound producer like Ballal Uncle who is very passionate about films as a producer.

When asked what he felt about his senior actors like say Yash , Sudeep Kichcha etc, Zaid very modestly confessed that he considered himself nothing more than a Maruti whereas he feels that actors like Sudeep Kichcha and Yash are no less than mega superstars as well as legends while he is just a rank newcomer and Maruti if you set out to compare him with the superstars.
