My mother inspires me the most. I have actually written an entire script based purely on my mom because of everything that she has done for me. I think the moment a woman gives birth to a child, she turns into a superhero. In today’s world some people might use feminism as a pretext to convey a message but I think a real woman, a feminist is proud of who she is and will always stand up for herself and do the right things. I would like to thank all the women for making our lives better in so many unimaginable ways. Lastly, I would like to wish all a very happy women’s day

Women have always been instrumental in contributing to our lives in different ways and played multiple roles at the same time taking upon a great deal of responsibility and I deeply admire that about all women. I don’t think we particularly need one day to make women feel special. It should be celebrated throughout the year. I believe daily gratefulness and heartfelt compliments go a much longer way than a single day of over compensation. I don’t believe in the concept of anideal woman as everyone is perfect in their own way. Women should be confident about their strength and men should inculcate respect for them from a young age. My mother is my biggest inspiration and is the most important person in my life. She makes me a better person every day and supports me through thick and thin. She continues to nurture our entire family. Her love, sacrifices, contributions in my life are immeasurable and incomparable. The kind of faith she had (during my struggling days) and still has in me keeps me going every day. I am proud and blessed to be her son. On behalf of all the men, I would like to express my gratitude to all the women whose sacrifices and efforts go unnoticed. I don't think we need any special day to make them(women) realize their importance in our life when we can do that any day, any time. But having said that, I feel marking a special occasion would inspire everyone to put some extra efforts to show love and take out time from busy schedules to celebrate womanhood together. An ideal woman is not the one who tries to fit herself into the symbolic mould created by the society, but the one, that breaks through the mould; thus, paving a new path for many others to follow. As a woman, I celebrate my life. Being a feminist is not about belittling men, but about standing up for equal opportunity for people, irrespective of gender. I have been brought up in an environment where the ladies of the house are respected and girls are brought up with a lot of love and affection. I wish that this happens in every household and women get their due respect for who they are and for the multiple roles they play effortlessly. To ensure this happens, the only message I have is - Empower every little girl with education and support them unconditionally so that they can transform into strong individuals.
