While sharing the information with her fans on social media, the actress wrote, ‘On May 19, 2023, I woke up early in the morning, packed a small suitcase, and kissed Lily. Then Jahaan and Kara took me to Hinduja Hospital. I have a condition called ptosis, which is the result of an injury I suffered decades ago that damaged the muscles around my right eye. Because of this, my eyelid has become even droopier over the years. Due to this, my vision has deteriorated for some years.

The actress further wrote, “When so much of someone’s career is based on their looks, it is difficult to come up with a dramatic change. I know for a fact that this ptosis reduced my chances. According to the information, the actress’s surgery was done in May. Recalling the experience of that time, he described it as very horrifying. But now he is feeling better.
