ZYAADA MEETHA AUR ACCHA KABHI KABHI KADVAA AUR BURA LAGTA HAI ..... By - Ali Peter John

For the last two years , I have been depending on my mobile more than any dependable human being , even a good and faithful wife , a good and helpful girl friend and I can say even more than a mother who doesn't know what it means to be a mother - Ali Peter John

And I have been watching apps and channels and shows which I have not even thought of seeing . And one of the apps I have got addicted to is what is called Instagram . I only knew what a telegram was before I discovered Instagram .

These days , there are four celebrities who have been ruling Instagram and they are Shah Rukh Khan , Rekha , Salman khan and Salim khan , besides the irritating clips from the Kapil Sharma show .

There is a limit to a man's tolerance when it comes to see the same faces doing the same things and trying to entertain in their own ways .

I am an ardent admirer of Shah Rukh Khan as many may know by now . I have seen all his films and I have been a witness to his rise as a global star who has even given a complex to some of the biggest Hollywood stars and even some of the legends from different corners of the world .

I was among the millions of his admirers who prayed for him and hoped that he would walk out of the Aryan Khan controversy .

It has given me immense pleasure to see him as a family man living some of his best moments with his wife , Gauri and children , Aryan , Suhana and AbRam . I look forward to some of his quotes and stories which are very inspiring and I love the hundreds of photographs he posts ( or his fans post ) .

But of late whoever is putting those photographs , however interesting they may be are going a little too far.

This morning I made it a point to watch all of SRK's photographs and clips from his life , the events in his life and shots of him looking dashing , daring and dynamic at different times in his life .

And I realized that even King Khan could get boring when looked at repeatedly. I don't think SRK has the time or inclination to watch what is shown about him on this app.

I think he should find time to seriously take a look at how he looks and talks and he too will agree with me and say, " too much of anything or anybody is or can be too bad "

The same rule applies to the gorgeous Rekha . She was never known as a singer , but if you look at her on Instagram , you will marvel at her looks , her saris and her voice in which she sings songs that were once picturised on her and her favourite hero , Amitabh Bachchan.

She also sings songs picturized on other actors and even sings ghazals and her favourite songs are always the ones with Amitabh when they were the craze of the masses , especially when they did romantic songs together or solo .

Rekha who is one of my all-time favourites , but how long can one even watch and listen to someone who you love with more than all your heart ? Rekhaji , hum sab aapko devi ka darja de rahe hain , aap kyon hamaare sanmaan ki beizzati kar rahi ho ?

Salman Khan is loved by women of all ages and it has been proved down the years . But the way he is seen in different video clips on Instagram almost makes him look as if he depends on this kind of publicity .

True , some of his clips especially the ones with Shah Rukh Khan which show how close they are as friends are repeated once too often and there are times when one just feels like rolling down the mobile when Salman is seen with his muscles and that winning smile.

This kind of over exposure is not the best thing to happen to a dabbang hero like Salman , but the exposure is damaging more than creating . And if the dabbang hero doesn't know this truth , he better do because he still has a very long way to go .....

And as if in competition with his son , Salim Khan keeps popping up on this app and talks about Salman and his other sons , about his teaming up with Javed Akhtar and the split between them and on the art of screenplay writing which he keeps saying is the backbone of a film .

What he says is being repeated endless times and I know his words by heart and know the movements and twitching of his lips and the movements of his eyebrows when he talks with his moods and expressions giving him all the support he needs .

Khan Sahab with Javed Akhtar has written some of the biggest hits and knows when to cut a scene and when to let it flow . Then , why can't he in all his power stop this excessive exposure when he really doesn't need it ?

The other man who grabs space , on this app is Amitabh Bachchan who has already been exposed countless times . Some of his clips certainly make one feel nostalgic . But how long can one even tolerate sweet nostalgia ?

There are others like Kapil Sharma , Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who seem to revel in seeing themselves on this glamorous app , but will they realise that too much of even the most beautiful and handsome can also get on one's nerves .

I am not saying all this for fun or to run down anyone . I am saying all this in the interest of my glamorous , growing and glowing friends with whom I have had the good fortune of growing up .
