Mumbai, October 27th: With Diwali around the corner, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi co stars have joined hands to spread light and cheer to bring in the festive season. "When I learned about the work of Kamalika and her team at Artscape to support those in need through expressive arts therapies, I couldn't wait to get on board!" explained Apara. "When I was thinking about how I can do something special and personal, I immediately thought of my own sari collection. The saris we collect reflect so much about us, and are such a big part of our culture. So I picked out some of my favourite pieces and have put them up for sale to raise funds for this cause!"

Kamalika added, "To have an artist like Apara appreciate the work of expressive arts therapies means a great deal. We have personally experienced the transformative effects of creative expression, and learning how to hone this tool to help those in need - whether it is at-risk underprivileged children or cancer patients and their care givers - has been one of the most fulfilling projects I have undertaken."
