Are Ranbir-Alia ready for their Engagement in Jungles of Ranthambore with Deepika and Ranveer?

While some filmy and TV celebs have chosen to fly to exotic foreign locations like Maldives for their Naya Saal (2021) jashn. There are the other A-List Bolly star-celebs like Ranbir-Alia and Deepika-Ranveer who have preferred to ‘Travel-Within-India’.

Call it an incredible uncanny coincidence that while Deepika Padukone and her exuberant pati-dev Ranveer Singh are already in Ranthambore (Rajasthan), even Ranbir Kapoor and his steady-girl-friend Alia Bhatt (with their respective families) have arrived at the same destination. For the Kapoors and Bhatts, it’s more like family get-together because besides the sibling-sisters both the star mothers Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan have joined Alia and Ranbir in their jungle-mein-mangal outing.

Which in turn led to wild speculations that their discreet engagement (sagaai) ceremony would take place out there. However, Ranbir's uncle, actor-director Randhir Kapoor, has dismissed the crazy buzz. The outspoken Randhir has refuted rumours about Ranbir and Alia's engagement insisting “that they were not at all true”. The senior Kapoor further stated that if Ranbir and Alia were to get engaged during this week, his family and he would have also been there with them. Besides the chilling-cold winter climate, tourist-friendly Ranthambore is specially known for the ‘sighting-safaris’ sanctuary forests which has a variety of wild-life especially tigers roaming freely in the reserve-zone.

As the final countdown starts ticking, preparations for welcoming the New Year celebrations tonight have already kick-started across the country . Apparently Indian tourists in Ranthambore may have less rigid corona-centric curfew restrictions as compared to Mumbai. It remains to be seen whether Deepika Padukone finally decides to return to Mumbai ( with Ranveer, of course) or will stay back in romantic Ranthambore in the first week of January. That’s because Tuesday, January 5th is Deepika’s birthday.
