The Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 19 are always special for the audience, as host Salman Khan confronts contestants with their truths and tries to shift their perspectives. This time too, Salman not only schooled the housemates but also raised an important issue — food wastage and the importance of helping the needy.

The Food Fight Over Poha

Salman expressed concern over the wastage of food in the house. Referring to a small argument between Farhana and Basir over just one spoon of poha, he turned the incident into a larger lesson for everyone. Salman said that although housemates often complain about food, they fail to manage it properly — something that goes against our culture.

On the show, Salman stated: “Don’t disrespect food. In our culture, it has always been a tradition to eat until the very last grain. This is not just a habit, it is gratitude.” His message was clear — Indian culture teaches us never to waste food, but instead to value and respect it. His words left the contestants thoughtful and serious.

A Message Beyond the House

Through this statement, Salman Khan not only reminded the contestants about the importance of culture but also highlighted their responsibility towards society. While using the poha fight as an example to correct the housemates, he also shed light on the plight of farmers in Punjab and their struggling families, pointing towards a larger mission of compassion and responsibility.

Salman Khan to Adopt Villages in Punjab

Reports suggest that Salman Khan is planning to adopt a few villages in Punjab. Punjab’s tourism advisor Deepak Bali has himself confirmed this development. Notably, actor Sonu Sood has also stepped forward to support Punjab during these challenging times.

Alongside Salman and Sonu Sood, many prominent Punjabi celebrities have also extended their support. Some are distributing food, others are arranging medical facilities, while several have gone as far as adopting villages to provide long-term help.
