Veteran producer and director Tarachand Barjatya, who broke the tradition of films full of violence, rape, and obscenity and started the trend of clean, family-sensitive films, is no longer among us. While his departure has raised the question 'what will happen now' in the minds of viewers fond of family films, new actors and actresses are beginning to regret that they never started their careers under the guidance of Tarachand Barjatya. Will find.

Tarachand Barjatya himself, having satvik thoughts, kept the fragrance of satvikism in film production, his only argument was, 'Who says that a film cannot work without obscenity or violence?' While other producers are saying this in order to fill their pockets. He puts all the blame on the audience that 'the audience itself likes obscene, cheap vulgarity in the films because most of the audience are street people', while Tarachand Barjatya always respected the audience, he said, 'In the end, the audience wants clean and meaningful films. They like it because the audience has a lot of thinking power.

Before the film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' (MAINE PYAR KIYA), when there was a long period of silence in Rajshri films, during a meeting I had asked, 'Now in today's changing style of films, is your silence not your defeat? He said smiling sarcastically, 'This silence is a sign of the coming high wave or a new storm, good films never lose but the era has to change and return to good films.' And indeed Rajshree's next film 'Maine Pyar Kiya' changed the course of filmmaking, he was proud of his belief and was proud of Barjatya's new director Sooraj Barjatya who kept the tradition of Rajshree films flying.

I once asked Tarachand Barjatya ji, 'With what thoughts did you start Rajshree Film Production Company? On this he said, 'I had entered the film industry as a distributor before the independence of the country, then I started my film distribution organization on Independence Day, 15th August 1947, but I felt satisfied by distributing the films made. I didn't do it because I had to mass distribute the kind of films I didn't like. To eliminate this dissatisfaction. For this reason, I started my film production company Rajshree Films in 1962 and produced the first film 'Aarti' which proved to be a hit. My guess turned out to be right that the audience only wants good films and good films neither need stars nor budget. of.'

Then Barjatya ji wrote 'Dosti', 'Jeevan Mrityu', 'Uphaar', 'Saudagare', 'Piya Ka Ghar', Geet Gaata Chal', 'Chitchor', 'Tapasya', 'Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye', ' By making fifty films like 'Tarana', 'Sawan Ko Aane Do', 'Nadiya Ke Paar', 'Saraansh', 'Maine Pyar Kiya' etc., he laid the foundation of a clean tradition in the film industry. He never tolerated the tantrums of big stars, he used to say, 'Where is the dearth of good artists here that we have to run after a particular star? There are many sensitive, struggling artists within our sight who just need support and nurturing.

As a result of this statement of Tarachand Barjatya, many new artists emerged with the help of Rajshri film like Sanjay Khan (Dosti), Sachrin Sarika (Geet Gaata Chal), Amol Palekar, Zarina Wahab (Chitchor), Ranjita (Akhi ke Jharokhen Se) Rakhi (Jeevan Mrityu) ) Arun Govil (Let Sawan Ko Aane) Rameshwari (Dulhan Wahi Jo...) Salman Khan, Bhagyanshree (Maine Pyar Kiya) etc. Today almost all the films are based on melodious music, this is also a tradition started by Rajshri Films of a music lover like Tarachand. He gave priority to songs and music in each of his films, which is visible in all the films today.

His physical strength was decreasing with age. But he was neither able to give up his enthusiasm for film making nor did he want to give it up, he said, 'Even if I don't have the strength in my body like before, Rajshri Films will always keep producing good films, just because of this enthusiasm, I will make films till my death. Will keep making. I will not disappoint those new faces who are waiting to start their career with Rajshree banner films. I don't make films for any honor or award because my reward is the smile on the lips of my audience and the tears in the eyes that they shed while watching my films. I make films on the joys, sorrows and problems of the audience and give them to them... What if I don't get an award? By the way, his films 'Aarti' were shown in the International Film Festival. The film 'Dosti' was honored at the National Award, and 'Maine Pyar Kiya' broke all box office records.

Although films will continue to be made under the banner of Rajshree Films, the sensitive works of Tarachand Barjatya will still be missed, may his soul rest in peace and may his family have patience.
