In a candid chat with Pinkvilla, Dia Mirza opened up about the presence of a female priest at her second wedding with Vaibhav Rekhi. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that when she saw Sheela Atta perform at one of her friend's weddings, she was very impressed by it. Diya said that her friend's wedding was like a spiritual awakening for her as the presence of the female priest made her feel connected to spirituality.

Further, in the same conversation, Dia said that after her marriage she realized how unusual it is for women to take up this profession. The actress said that due to the cultural and caste system of the society, women are not considered suitable for the profession of priest. Elaborating further, Dia said that after her marriage, people recognized that a woman priest could also perform marriages. Mentioning that it is beautiful to have female priests at a wedding, Dia said that there is a lot of power when someone deeply connected to spirituality performs the rituals.

Dia talks about learning to ride a bike after giving birth to son Avyaan

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Dia talked about her film 'Dhak-Dhak' and revealed that she learned to ride a bike a few months after giving birth to her son Avyaan.
