Pankaj Tripathi has played many types of characters till now, but for the first time, he is being seen as a completely different character in the mystery and thriller film "Kadak Singh", which is being streamed on Zee5 from 8th December. The director is Anirudh Roy Chowdhury. Sadly, Pankaj Tripathi disappoints in this film. The film begins with AK Srivastava suffering from memory loss in the hospital. He is a dutiful and honest officer of the 'Department of Financial Crime'. After this scene, there are no chances of the film being good. And this is what happens. However, many films on memory loss have already been made.

Story of Film 'Kadak Singh'

The film begins in the hospital, where top financial crimes expert AK Srivastava (Pankaj Tripathi) is admitted suffering from amnesia. As he regains consciousness in his hospital bed, he realizes that he remembers very little. He doesn't even recognize his daughter. Despite the best efforts of his daughter Sakshi (Sanjana Sanghi), his confidant Naina (Jaya Ahsan), and his close associate Arjun (Paresh Pahuja), he cannot remember anything. Whereas all these characters keep trying to make them remember everything by telling them the story.

The story begins with chit-fund fraudster Ashok Agarwal, who is under investigation in Srivastava's department. A colleague Ravikant dies by suicide. Or is it murder? Soon after, Srivastava was found unconscious in his room. It is alleged that he also attempted suicide. Most of the secrets are in Srivastava's mind. Their memory may be affected, but there is nothing wrong with their brain. His background story is complex. His motherless children named him Kadak because he was a harsh person who was difficult to please, and now after a near-death experience, he has transformed into a cheerful person, who works as a devoted nurse (Parvathy Thiruvothu), who also looks well-built. That nurse keeps an eye on him day and night.

AK Srivastava separates fact from fiction with the help of a nurse at the hospital to find out what led him to where he is and ultimately also helps him solve a massive money fraud that rocked the country.

Review:

At least this kind of film was not expected from Anirudh Roy Chowdhury, the director of films like 'Antheen' and 'Pink'. Many successful and excellent films have been made based on memory loss. This time Anirudh Roy Choudhary has made a mysterious film on this topic, but the style of telling the story creates confusion. The filmmakers try to create confusion in the minds of the audience but fail to succeed. The film progresses at a very slow pace, which is unable to keep the audience engaged. Only the last thirty minutes have momentum in the film. This happened due to the screenwriter's shortcomings. There is nothing in the film which can keep the audience engaged.

Acting:

For the last few days, it has been believed that the actors in films coming on OTT are continuously losing the shine of their acting. This becomes completely clear after seeing Pankaj Tripathi's performance in 'Kadak Singh'. At least, Pankaj Tripathi's low-level acting in the role of AK Srivastava was not expected from him. So now has he also become so intoxicated with success that he has also accepted that he will do anything and the audience will see it? So this is their misunderstanding. Parvati could not think of anything except smiling while sitting. Sanjana Sanghi could have done a lot in the role of Sakshi, but sadly she also disappoints. The acting of any actor in the film is not good enough to be discussed.
