Happy Birthday Rashmika Mandanna- The Pan-Indian Actress Celebrates Her 29th Birthday

Rashmika Mandanna, born on April 5, 1996, has had an incredible journey in the entertainment industry. From captivating audiences in Kannada films to taking Bollywood by storm, she has created a unique identity for herself with her infectious smile and remarkable performances.

From Tollywood to Bollywood

Rashmika began her career in 2016 with the Kannada film Kirik Party. She then ventured into Tollywood with the romantic comedy Chalo. However, her real breakthrough came the same year with the blockbuster romance Geetha Govindam, which earned her the prestigious Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – South.

Her acting prowess continued to captivate audiences in action-packed films like Devadas and Sarileru Neekevvaru, as well as the romantic film Bheeshma. She also made her mark in Tamil cinema with the action film Sulthan. But the biggest turning point came with her role as Srivalli in the record-breaking film Pushpa: The Rise, which turned her into a pan-India sensation.

Entering Hindi Cinema

Rashmika made her Bollywood debut with the action-thriller Animal. While the film was commercially successful, the reception of her character was mixed. However, Rashmika’s talent continued to shine, and she went on to establish herself as one of the most prominent actresses across multiple industries.

Following her success in Pushpa, she reprised her iconic role of Srivalli in the sequel Pushpa: The Rule (2024). She also portrayed the historical character  Yesubai Bhonsale in the Hindi drama Chhaava.. Recently, she was also seen in Salman Khan's film Sikandar.

Rashmika’s Upcoming Projects

Looking ahead, Rashmika has an exciting line-up of films for her fans. She will reprise her fan-favorite role as Geetanjali in Animal Park and will also be seen in the films Rainbow, Kuber, Thama, Animal Park, and  Girlfriend.
