Early Life and Career Beginnings
Born on January 16, 1946, Kabir Bedi discovered his passion for acting during his school and college years. Early in his career, he worked on advertising films in Mumbai. In 1970, his performance in the play Tughlaq caught the attention of filmmakers, leading to several film offers. This marked the beginning of his professional acting journey.
Bollywood Success
Kabir Bedi made his Bollywood debut with the film Hulchul and went on to star in Seema and Kacche Dhaage. After appearing in over 20 Bollywood films in five years, he expanded his horizons by moving to Europe. There, he worked on multiple international projects, achieving immense popularity.
One of Kabir Bedi's notable international roles was as Gobinda, the villain's ally in the James Bond movie Octopussy. Over the years, he acted in more than 60 Indian films.
His portrayal of Emperor Shah Jahan in the historical epic Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story was highly praised. However, he gained widespread fame with his performances in Nagin and Khoon Bhari Maang.

Personal Life
Kabir Bedi’s personal life has been as eventful as his career. The actor has been married four times and has children from his marriages.
In 1969, he married Indian model Protima Bedi. The couple was together for four years and had two children, Siddharth and Pooja Bedi. Sadly, Siddharth, who struggled with schizophrenia, passed away at a young age. Pooja Bedi followed in her father’s footsteps and became an actor. She later married Farhan Furniturewala and has two children.
After his divorce from Protima, Kabir Bedi was romantically linked with Parveen Babi. Later, he married British fashion designer Susan Humphreys, with whom he had a son, Adam Bedi. However, this marriage also ended in divorce.
In the 1990s, Kabir Bedi tied the knot with television and radio presenter Nikki Bedi, though the couple had no children. They divorced in 2005.
Post his divorce from Nikki, Kabir Bedi entered into a relationship with Parveen Dusanj. The couple married shortly after Kabir’s 70th birthday.
