Vijay Arora (27 December 1944 – 2 February 2007) was an Indian actor who appeared in Hindi films and television serials. He is best known for his roles as Meghnad/Indrajit in the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat and the TV serial Ramayan.

Vijay Arora graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in 1971, receiving a gold medal. He made his film debut in 1972 with the film "Zaroorat" alongside newcomer Reena Roy. That same year, he also appeared in "Rakhi Aur Hathkadi" alongside Asha Parekh.

In 1973, his pairing with Zeenat Aman and the famous song "Chura Liya Hai" in the Dharmendra-starrer superhit film "Yaadon Ki Baaraat" brought him immense popularity. That same year, he played Jaya Bhaduri's husband in "Fagun."

His other notable films included Roti (1974), Jeevan Jyoti (1976, opposite Bindiya Goswami —a surprise hit of that year), Sargam (1979), Bade Dil Wala (1983), Jaan Tere Naam (1992), and Indian Babu (2003). His roles in later films were relatively smaller.

Vijay Arora made a spectacular comeback to the small screen in the late 1980s. His role as Meghnad/Indrajit in Ramanand Sagar 's "Ramayana" gained him new recognition. He also appeared as Salim/Emperor Jahangir in Shyam Benegal's "Bharat Ek Khoj."
