Indian cinema will always remember  Aditi Gohatrikar. A woman who dreamed and broke every barrier and wall that came her way to progress. 2001 was the year when she became the first Indian in history to step into a completely different realm by winning the  Mrs. World title, a moment that went far beyond trophies and events. It was a victory over stereotypes at that time, a victory, for countless married women across the world who saw their wishes resonate in their lives.

Govitrikar became the first Indian to be crowned Mrs. World, an achievement that not only made a country proud but broke the shackles of prescriptions for women across the country. It is a classy proud declaration, A BUGLE, that dreams do not end with marriage but they grow, they take flights, and they grow wings. Now, as the 40th anniversary of Mrs. World is being celebrated, the clock seems to be turning back. The day carries with it waves of nostalgia and pride. The auditorium is set to grace the global stage once again, representing India in this grand event to be held once again on January 30, 2025 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort. For millions, it seems like a star shining into the sky, one that lit up for the first time, so many years ago. There are words etched with a sense of gratitude and stupefaction about this honour. She shared, "It feels like the whole life has come full circle. Mrs. World holds a very special place in my heart, and every time someone remembers that win, it's heartwarming. I have been loved and respected over the years,   and I can't wait to live those memories and this unexpected journey.

Aditi's story is not just about beauty —it's about genius, intelligence, and reincarnation. Aditi Govitrikar is a doctor by training, a supermodel by choice, an actress by passion, and a Harvard-certified philosopher by determination. She is a woman who has never stopped exploring the infinite depths of her potential. She proves that every step of the way is worth taking and bringing courage and heartfelt moments . Her 2001 win wasn't just a win for her; it was a win for every woman who was always told that marriage was the end of their dreams. Aditi showed that it could be the beginning of something even greater. In her own words, “You all have been there to support me throughout this amazing journey. You all have made it possible for me to stand here today, my head held high and my heart full of joy and gratitude . This is not just my story- it is our story."

In her work field, she received appreciation for her work in Netflix's ‘Missmatched 3’ and launched a platform- 'Marvelous Mrs. India' to give women the rightful recognition. She keeps reminding us (the fairer gender) that dreams have no expiry date and the nature of life lies in the secret of pursuing them. As she embarks on this journey to shine on the global stage, Mayapuri can only wish her the best and cheer her on with all its heart.
