Aashram 3 Part 2 Trailer Launch: On Wednesday, February 19, the trailer for Bobby Deol's highly anticipated web series Aashram Season 3 Part 2 was released at an event in Mumbai. Directed by Prakash Jha, the series features Bobby Deol in the lead role.

At the event, Bobby Deol was seen wearing white jeans paired with a blue blazer, while director Prakash Jha sported a Nehru coat. Actress Aaditi Pohankar made an appearance in a yellow saree, and actor Darshan Kumar was dressed in black. Chandan Roy Sanyal was seen in a grey blazer.

During the trailer launch, Prakash Jha expressed his excitement, saying, “The entire team of Aashram and I are thrilled because MX Player and Amazon have come together. We are extremely happy that our show is coming on such a strong platform. As they say, ‘what more can a blind man want, than two eyes.’ We’re very happy about the strong platform our show is getting.”

Prakash Jha also spoke highly of Bobby Deol, saying, “Bobby had more trust in me than he had in himself for this role."

Bobby Deol on Aashram: ‘Reactions Felt Like a Dream’

Bobby Deol shared his experience working on Aashram and with Prakash Jha, saying, “As actors, we play a variety of roles. This topic is so controversial that the more you talk about it, the more it becomes a hot topic. As an actor, I’ve always wanted to play different types of characters. Hero roles were not coming my way, so when I accepted this show, I didn’t tell many people about it. I waited to see what reactions would come. When the reactions came, it felt like I was dreaming.”

Bobby further shared how his family reacted. “My mom said, ‘I’m getting so many calls from my friends saying how much they loved your work.’ My dad told me that so many people have praised my performance. I’m very happy. My brother, Sunny Deol, also mentioned that his friends were calling him to ask to talk to me. As an actor, our job is to do good work and entertain our audience. I give full credit to Prakash Ji. He changed my life.”

Bobby Deol on Aashram: Struggles, Opportunities & More

Bobby also revealed, “I was going through a phase where I was struggling to find work. Opportunities were rare. One day, I got a call about the Aashram series, and I found out that Prakash Ji was directing it. I first met Prakash Ji during the dubbing of Gupt. I had expressed my desire to work with him, but nothing came of it at the time.”

Bobby recalled how Prakash Jha had pitched the role of Baba Nirala to him. “I thought he was offering me the role of a policeman. But then Prakash Ji told me, ‘Just believe that you are Baba, and start watching videos.’ I only told my wife Tanya about it and didn’t tell my dad or brother, fearing they would question my decision. Tanya was supportive and said, ‘Do what feels right for you.’”

Darshan Kumar’s Role in Aashram

Darshan Kumar, who plays the role of a policeman in Aashram, shared, “I’ve always wanted to work with Prakash Jha, so when I was offered a role in Aashram, I immediately said yes. Everyone kept asking me when Aashram Season 3 Part 2 would release, and now, it's here.”

Aaditi Pohankar’s Experience

Aaditi Pohankar, who plays a crucial role in the series, said, “Aashram has become very special for me. Pammie is going to stress everyone out now. There’s a lot more to come in Aashram Season 3 Part 2 that you will enjoy.”

Chandan Roy Sanyal’s Moment

Chandan Roy Sanyal shared, “I met Prakash Jha many years ago and told him that I wanted to work with him. At that time, he told me in Bengali, ‘One day you will definitely work with me.’ Today, that day has come, and I’m working with Bobby Sir as well.”

Media Interaction: During the media round, Bobby Deol shared an interesting anecdote. “Prakash Jha Sir had arranged for a mentor to sit with me so I could rehearse my lines. There was a scene where my dialogues were in Haryanvi, and I had difficulty delivering them.”

When asked about the challenges of working on three seasons of Aashram and handling various issues, Bobby said, “If there aren’t any challenges in work, it’s not fun. Prakash Ji has added so many layers to my character. I practiced my dialogues for two months, and I remember we shot the final scene till 2 AM. I have never seen anyone as meticulous as Prakash Ji, who manages everything so well.”

Darshan Kumar on His Character

When asked about his character, Darshan Kumar said, “My character, Ujagar Singh, wants to prove himself. A lot happens to him, but he never loses sight of his goal. From Aashram 1 to Aashram 3, the graph of his character has evolved, and I’m very excited about it.”

Aaditi Pohankar on Her Role

Aaditi Pohankar added, “For me, this was more of a discovery than a challenge. I’ve always wanted to work with Prakash Ji, and he was on my top list of directors to work with. My character has been written so well.”

The much-awaited Aashram Season 3 Part 2, starring Bobby Deol, Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, and Chandan Roy Sanyal, will be released on MX Player and Amazon on February 27.
