Randeep Hooda, who is known for his serious and transformative performances in various genres, from action-packed dramas to thrilling cop thrillers, has now expressed keen interest in venturing into the world of comedy. A method actor with a strong screen presence, Randeep has delivered powerful performances in films like Highway, Sarbjit and Jaat but feels comedy is a genre that has not been explored much in his career.

Talking about his career choices so far, Randeep said, "I have always been attracted to complex, multi-layered characters and intense stories, but then I think there is a part of me that wants to do something more light-hearted and fun. I haven't had the right opportunity to try my hand at comedy, and while I have tried a few times, I don't think those stories have found the right audience. But yes, a good comedy is definitely on my wish list."

Randeep's honest response highlights a fresh side of the actor who has long been associated with serious and often deep roles. As audiences are changing their choice of content, the actor hopes to work in projects that reflect his lighter and more humorous side.
