Aditya Deshmukh Relives the Magic of Holi at Mumbai’s Biggest Festival – Holi Splash Season 6

Popular television actor Aditya Deshmukh, known for his role in the hit show *Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin*, recently celebrated Holi with great enthusiasm and joy at Mumbai’s biggest Holi festival, *Holi Splash Season 6*, held at Inorbit Malad. Reflecting on the vibrant celebration, Aditya shared his experience of being part of such a massive event and spreading awareness about safe and responsible festivities. Talking about his Holi celebration this year, Aditya said, “This year’s Holi was absolutely amazing! Celebrating at *Holi Splash Season 6* was such a memorable experience. The energy of the crowd, the burst of colors, and the music all around created a fantastic atmosphere. It was truly beautiful to see so many people coming together to celebrate with so much love and positivity.” Known for his love of cultural traditions, Aditya also opened up about the meaning behind his favorite Holi color. “If I had to describe myself in a color, it would be red gulal, which I really like. Red is considered a symbol of auspiciousness, a blessed color. The splashing of colors during Holi feels like blessings in disguise. It brings happiness and positivity. Overcoming negativity is a kind of victory, which is why we apply tilak. And that’s why I love the red color — it symbolizes love, friendship, and peace.

” While enjoying the grand festival, Aditya made sure to play responsibly. “I love playing with both dry gulal and water. But I avoid water balloons because they can cause injuries. If a balloon bursts near someone’s eyes, it can be really harmful. This year, I made sure to use natural colors and encouraged everyone around me to do the same. It’s all about celebrating with joy while being mindful of everyone’s safety.” Reminiscing about his childhood, Aditya added, “My childhood Holi memories will always be special. We used to play on a huge playground and celebrate all night long while the Holika bonfire burned. My mom would bring the aarti thali and delicious Puran Poli. That combination of fun and food created unforgettable memories.” Aditya also took precautions to protect his skin and hair during the festival. “Before heading out, I applied cream and oil so the colors would wash off easily. I always rely on my mom’s homemade shampoo, which works wonders.

” The actor also shared his thoughts on the importance of staying connected to cultural roots. “I love watching religious films based on Holi’s origins, like the story of devotee Prahlad. Understanding the cultural significance of Holi makes the celebration even more meaningful.” When it comes to fashion, Aditya kept his Holi look classic yet stylish. “I wore a white kurta and blue jeans — the perfect combination for Holi. It’s simple and yet feels festive.” Ending on a thoughtful note, Aditya made a heartfelt appeal, “I hope everyone celebrated Holi safely and responsibly. It’s important to avoid applying colors to animals because they can’t wash them off like we can. Let’s be mindful and ensure that everyone, including animals, is safe and happy during this beautiful festival.” With his vibrant celebration at *Holi Splash Season 6* and his constant message of kindness and safety, Aditya Deshmukh once again proved why he’s adored by his fans. “Holi is all about love, positivity, and celebrating togetherness.
