The plane burning in the sky, floating slowly and falling towards the ground without any balance, looked like a scene from a film. As everyone knows by now, Air India flight number AI171 took off from Ahmedabad airport for London Gatwick, with 242 people on board. Just five minutes after takeoff, the huge Boeing 787 plane crashed into a busy residential area called Meghaninagar very close to the airport. Many Bollywood stars like Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Ritesh Deshmukh, Randeep Hooda, Tamil superstar Vijay, Telugu stars Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan expressed deep condolences.

People at the scene saw the plane fly low and then suddenly fall out of the sky. There was a huge explosion and thick black smoke filled the air. The sound was so loud that people rushed out of their homes. There were flames and broken pieces of the plane everywhere. The plane actually crashed into the dining hall of the state-run B.J. Medical College hostel, killing several medical students who were eating there. Some buildings were badly damaged and the road was filled with fire, trucks and ambulances rushing to the scene for help.

Although rescue teams and firefighters reached the scene very quickly, no one could prevent the loss of many lives. Army personnel carried the injured and dead out on stretchers and tried to control the fire. Police closed the roads leading to the airport and the entire area was filled with panic and fear. Many people were crying and looking for their loved ones. The airport was closed, and no flights were allowed to take off or land.

Officials said the plane lost contact with air traffic control seconds after takeoff, from a height of only 825 feet in the air. The civil aviation minister said he was shocked and was personally overseeing the rescue operation. Air India has said they are still checking the details and will have more news soon.

The bravery of Indian soldiers, firefighters and ordinary Indian citizens during this accident was worth watching. The entire city is in shock, and everyone is waiting for more news about the passengers and crew. This tragic incident will be remembered for a long time in Ahmedabad.
