Amit Das: Happiness, for me, is multifaceted
“Taking my dogs out, spending quality time with loved ones, being at home with my mom without work pressure, feeling fulfilled after work, experiencing a captivating play at Prithvi Theatre by Kumud sir or Naseeruddin sir, watching good movies, and having personal time all contribute to myhappiness. Things that makemefeel good every day makemehappy,” he added.
But hishappinessis not solely dependent on his career. He said, “It's more about finding a good balance between my personal and work lives. This balance helpsmefeel fulfilled andhappy, making both parts of my life equally important for my overall well-being.”
On a gloomy day, even a cup of coffee can bring him instanthappiness, he said, adding, “watching a film, having conversation with my mother, dancing, reading, or listening to my favorite music. These activities provide immediate gratification and serve as a source of relaxation andjoyin the moment.”
A message for your followers and fans on the International Day ofHappiness? “Don't forget thathappinessisn't just for special days. We should try to findhappinessin everyday things and spread positivity everywhere we go. Yourhappinessis important, so make sure to take care of yourself and be around things and people that make youhappy,”Amitended.
